A great combination to see some of the stunning southern parts of the park.

Outstanding value! This leisurely one-day journey gives you a big serve of the Abel Tasman. Warm up with an easy walk along the coastal track discovering scenic outlooks, clear streams and native bush. Incredible views over Anchorage and the Astrolabe Islands make great photo opportunities before the short descent to Watering Cove.  Once on the beach, tuck into one of our great lunches before embarking on your guided kayak adventure back to Marahau. Live the day!.

The best half day kayak and half day guided walk tour in the park. This tour takes you by kayak through the sheltered waters of the Southern Abel Tasman, surrounded by golden beaches, the idyllic Adele & Fishermans islands, tidal inlets and caves and the famous granite rock formations. Once landed your guide will take you through a section of the park considered by locals as one of the best. You will experience captivating views of the Astrolabe and Northern end of the park, Cleopatra’s pool, finishing with the rich history of the Te Pukatea loop. You will be hard pressed on deciding which was your favourite spot of the day.

Our most eco trip!

This trip is our most environmentally friendly on offer. The forest-fringed Astrolabe offers the highest concentration of golden sandy beaches in the Abel Tasman to explore. The highlight of this trip is visiting Adele Island sanctuary, home to an array of protected native birds and a popular hang out for NZ fur seals. The cacophony of bird sound that is unique to the Island and as this trip is 100% paddle power you are reducing your carbon footprint. If conditions permit, kayak-sail back into Marahau on the afternoon sea breeze. Simpy an amazing day.

Water Taxi north to the golden expanse of Onetahuti beach to discover New Zealand fur seals Kekeno and little blue penguins at Tonga Island Marine Reserve. Kekeno are extremely good swimmers watch them in their natural environment on Tonga Island. Paddle south with the breeze, exploring sculptured granite headlands, tranquil lagoons and everything that's special about the heart of the Abel Tasman. Your  guide has many stories of Maori and European settlers, and the natural hisotry of this picturesque area. Return to Marahau by Water Taxi.

Two Gods, two islands, sandy beaches and a fascinating stretch of coastline. The Two Gods tour highlights the best of the Abel Tasman in a day. You will explore the realm of Tangaroa the god of the sea and Tane Mahuta god of the forest and hear about the life that lives in each space. Both by land and sea, this trip ticks all the boxes. this is a trip you will remember for a long long time, as you live and breath the soul of the Abel Tasman. We make getting there and back easy with a Water Taxi to start and finish the day. Tide dependent, kayak and walk routes vary, but are alway's amazing.

Our best one day adventure combining all our favourites!

Join us and we will take you to a treasure trove of our special spots. Starting the tour at Awaroa, courtesy of our Aqua Taxi transfer, allows us to visit Shag Harbour* a hidden inlet like nowhere else in the Abel Tasman. We then paddle south, focusing on the Tonga Island Marine Reserve and its playful inhabitants - the NZ fur seal, Kekeno. After a great picnic lunch on one of the seven beautiful beaches we'll paddle past delightful rock sculptures and peaceful lagoons to our final destination at Bark Bay Beach. The best thing abut this trip is that ou see plenty of seals and very few fellow kayakers - hence the name of trip.*Tide dependent

This half day guided kayaking tour takes you from Marahau to Watering Cove through safe, sheltered waters passing beautiful beaches and islands. From here enjoy a 30 minute stroll over the hill to Anchorage, taking in amazing views. Join your sailing tour by 1.30pm and observe the playful antics of the New Zealand fur seals before catching the sea breeze sailing to Kaiteriteri.
