Our guide, Tim, was excellent, the other guides from the company were great too. We had no idea when we were looking for a company to go with! Thankfully we made a great choice. Tim was knowledgeable about every aspect. We really enjoyed it.

Amazing guided kayak day with our guide Traf, with ample viewings of wildlife and nature, including stingrays, native New Zealand birds, fur seals and wekas. Our kids are 13, 11, and 8 so we worried that a full day of kayaking would be tiering, but we found the level very doable. We had planned ahead of time to have a half day of kayaking and a half day of walking the Abel Tasman track. In hindsight, we probably could have handled a full day of kayaking, but the combination was a nice variation, and we felt refueled after the delicious catered picnic lunch from Abel Tasman kayaks. We would recommend this trip without hesitation. Our guide was amazing and provided us information not only about the nature that we saw, but about Maori history and heritage, and was extremely personable, and made the trip very fun. Scenery was amongst the most stunning we have seen. Our souls are satisfied! read less

We kayak along the splendid Coast of Abel Tasman National park for over 2 hours then we stopped for lunch at the magnificent onetahuti beach. Daryl was our tour guide; he was really nice cool fun and let us stopped and take as many pictures as we wanted and explained us very well the history of the Abel national park .

Great tour with Nathan giving really informative commentary throughout. We had a bonus Little Blue Penguin float calmly around the kayaks towards the end of the trip, too. So great.

Very good briefing to ensure safety etc. Guide was clear and humorous and had lots of knowledge of natural history to make things interesting. Lunch on beach very good, coffee and fruit too. Beautiful coastline and weather was great. We walked back along Able Tasman path, really good. Great way to spend 4-5 hours! Would fully recommend.

My husband and I did the 2-Day Classic kayaking tour with ATK. It was a tremendous highlight of our trip! We were led by Liana who was a wonderful, knowledgeable and highly skilled facilitator. The gear was top quality. We're so glad we had this experience and that we chose ATK to take us! read less
