We had planned ahead of time to have a half day of kayaking and a half day of walking the Abel Tasman track. In hindsight, we probably could have handled a full day of kayaking, but the combination was a nice variation, and we felt refueled after the delicious catered picnic lunch from Abel Tasman kayaks. We would recommend this trip without hesitation. Our guide was amazing and provided us information not only about the nature that we saw, but about Maori history and heritage, and was extremely personable, and made the trip very fun. Scenery was amongst the most stunning we have seen. Our souls are satisfied! read less

The Abel Tasman coast is absolutely beautiful to kayak but Nathan really made our day - he was friendly, enthusiastic, extremely knowledgeable about the local area and its history and really funny! We all had a great day! Delicious lunch on the beach, stunning scenery and we saw seals and penguins!! Highly recommend, one of our highlights of New Zealand :)

Well organised and friendly company with good equipment and attention to safety. We really enjoyed the water taxi ride up to a beach along the Abel Tasman track for lunch , followed by a unhurried kayak over to Adele island to visit the seal colony and then a kayak back to base.

The day kayak/walk was the highlight of our trip, we loved it (even the teenagers!). Darryl our guide was fantastic - he was so informative, knowledgeable and had lots of yarns to tell along the way. With no prior kayak experience, the paddle in the morning was a perfect amount of time on the water. The walk to Anchorage and then the Pitt Head loop was absolutely stunning. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, right from pick up to drop off in Motueka. Safety was clearly a priority for everyone and we were definitely in safe hands, which was very reassuring. This was our first trip to Abel Tasman and gave us a wonderful taste of what's on offer, we will without a doubt be back. Thanks Darryl and ATK. read less

We booked the Seal Sanctuary tour and were not disappointed. We saw many seals on our trip and then explored some of the coastline in the park before lunch. I would definitely recommend Abel Tasman... read moreWe booked the Seal Sanctuary tour and were not disappointed.
