What our customers say

We loved the 1day Earth Sea Sky tour. Jack and his team do a great job with a β€œwell organized but chill” approach which enabled my wife and me to enjoy the beautiful scenery and great stories from our guide.

Herb Riband

We opted for the 1 Day Freedom package with Abel Tasman Kayaks, embarking on a self-guided adventure. The luck was on our side as we spotted seals and enjoyed a leisurely lunch on a serene beach, punctuated by a short hike.

Pro-tip: If hiking is on your agenda, research the tracks beforehand.

For a guided experience, our friends tried the kayak and hike package, praising the guide's informative insights into the local flora and fauna. The only drawback was the restricted speed in a guided groupβ€”no freewheeling through the waves.

Overall, a day well-spent exploring the beauty of Abel Tasman National Park.

One day walk and 2 days kayaking. Lucky enough to have Dez as a guide - genuinely the best guide I’ve had. Funny, intuitive and so knowledgable. Really cares for his work. Learnt loads. Had a great time doing so and even saw a penguin. The glamping is with an incredible couple who love hosting - definitely buy their pizzas! And the Aquapackers is another amazing couple doing what they love - hosting! Great (and loads of) food.

This was a great experience! I loved all the secluded beaches we stopped at and all the wild life we saw! Darrel was an awesome guide and had a lot of wonderful information about the area and New Zealand as a whole. Would highly recommend this kayak company!

We did a one day freedom kayak and it was one of the best days of my life. I highly recommend the company, the team, and the amazing location. We explored everything in the lower section of the park below the 'mad mile'. I highly recommend taking the time to head south to experience split apple rock close up and the caves and tunnels just to the north of it, especially at high tide. My favourite spot to land and explore was Stream Cove on the east side of Adele Island. On the mainland, we really enjoyed the time at Observation Beach.
Thank you for the great service and fabulous day.

We did this day in early October and had a fabulous time. The whole process was smooth and hassle free, the gear was good and the packed lunch (with coffee!) was delicious. Our guide (Awatea) did a great job of briefing us, getting us going out on the water, and sharing information about the area. The seals were an unexpected bonus. We were then shuttled to the start of our walk on a super speedy boat where we strolled the 6+km north to our pick-up point. After that it was a quick trip back to base, with a few more pick-ups, along the way.Thoroughly recommend this option if you only have one day.We were trio of 50+ women and had a blast. Thanks guys :)
